Grind It are specialists in tree stump removal.  We grind out the stumps using the most up to date machines that grind the stump into chippings. This method is the most efficient method of destroying the stump, leaving the area ready for the next stage of garden design, replanting, fencing or building works.

Our stump grinder turns the stump into chippings that are mixed up with the soil. This mulch is left in the tree stump hole for our customer to utilise. It can also be used as a mulch and weed inhibitor elsewhere. The ground can then be replanted immediately or turfed. The resulting mulch can be removed from site although utilising the mulch in your own garden is more cost effective.

We try to be as flexible as possible. Work will usually be booked to be done within two weeks depending on the time of year.  If you have a small stump then Grind It may ask you to wait a little longer until another job is being done in your area, this reduces the costs for everyone.

Grind It are dedicated to the efficient removal of tree stumps. We work very closely with D.L. Corran Treesurgeons; for all other tree work or site clearance please visit: www.dlcorrantreesurgeons.co.uk.

Usually stumps will not re-grow. There are one or two exceptions, e.g. willow, that may send up the odd shoot from a piece of root, but even these can easily be managed with advice from Grind It.

The versatile machinery that Grind It use is ideal for inching right up to a wall, patio or other object that you do not want to have damaged in any way.

Grind It leave the area tidy after the operation is complete. Grind It use screens to prevent the chippings going where they are not wanted.
